01 Introduction
Pivotra is an integrated community and spiritual education platform operated by the SBRH Foundation. The platform is designed to serve as a values-driven initiative dedicated to nurturing holistic growth, spiritual well-being, and meaningful devotee-to-devotee connections globally. Pivotra allows users to establish profiles, participate in secure local and global communities, share interactive content, attend live sessions, receive community broadcasts, and access specialized educational, devotional, professional, and community-related services.
SBRH Foundation respects your privacy and is committed to safeguarding the personal data and sensitive information you entrust to us. This Privacy Policy outlines the types of personal information we collect, the purposes of processing, disclosure protocols, and the statutory privacy rights and control mechanisms available to you under applicable laws.
By creating an account, accessing, or using Pivotra, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
02 Information we collect
SBRH Foundation collects information that you provide directly, technical data generated automatically during your platform usage, and information received through authorized third-party connected services.
Directly provided information
Depending on your interactions with Pivotra's features, we collect the following:
- Name and unique username for account identification.
- Contact information, including email address and mobile phone number.
- Secure passwords and cryptographic authentication tokens.
- Optional profile photograph or avatar representing your account.
- Age or date of birth, where required for legal and compliance reasons.
- Voluntarily provided biography, interests, and professional or educational details.
- Spiritual, devotional, course-related, or community interest information that you choose to submit.
- Any location details you explicitly decide to share with the platform.
- Records of support-related inquiries, emails, or communication transcripts.
- Usage details regarding physical or online events, local communities, and associated care services.
Automatically collected information
When you navigate or interact with Pivotra, our infrastructure automatically captures technical, diagnostic, and usage metadata, including:
- Device specifications, hardware model, and operating system configuration.
- Application build version and web browser metadata.
- Internet Protocol (IP) address and approximate geographic location derived from network routing.
- Persistent device identifiers and unique installation IDs.
- Detailed platform activity logs, including login/logout timestamps, features accessed, page/community views, and content clicks.
- System performance logs, crash diagnostics, and network latency reports used for service optimization.
03 Content you share
You retain all intellectual property rights and ownership over the original text, posts, articles, photographs, comments, or multimedia content you create and publish on Pivotra.
By publishing content on the platform, you grant SBRH Foundation a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, and fully-paid license to host, store, display, distribute, and technically process such material. This license is strictly limited to the technical operations required to deliver and optimize Pivotra's community services.
04 How we use your information
SBRH Foundation processes your data for specific, legitimate, and law-abiding purposes. Your personal data is used to:
- Verify your identity, establish your secure credentials, and manage your user account.
- Provide, maintain, and optimize Pivotra's social networking, forum boards, and educational LMS capabilities.
- Facilitate user-to-user private messaging, group chat rooms, live interactive streams, and community broadcasts.
- Build customized, value-driven recommendations suggesting relevant communities, local events, nearby businesses, and devotional materials.
- Address technical support issues and deliver customer service assistance.
- Transmit critical system notifications, account alerts, password reset confirmations, and platform updates.
- Conduct internal analytics, platform optimization, and feature development to improve overall stability.
- Deploy advanced threat detection systems to prevent spam, malicious activities, data leaks, and fraudulent accounts.
- Enforce our platform terms of service and protect the safety, security, and physical well-being of our community.
- Fulfill judicial orders, regulatory requirements, tax audits, and local law enforcement mandates.
05 Public and community information
By default, specific elements of your Pivotra account are publicly accessible to other registered members to foster transparent, trustworthy devotee connections. These public elements include your display name, username, bio, selected profile picture, public posts, educational/devotional comments, business directories, and contributions to open live sessions. Privacy controls are provided to restrict access to specific fields where available; however, SBRH Foundation cannot prevent external users from screenshotting, downloading, or manually sharing details you publish in shared digital environments.
06 Live sessions and broadcasts
Pivotra offers real-time streaming, live classes, virtual workshops, and general community broadcasts. When participating in these interactive sessions, your profile name, image, typed chat messages, questions, and active audio or video stream may be visible to the host and all other participants, depending on the session's configuration.
Selected live educational courses or spiritual workshops may be recorded for archival, evaluation, or on-demand learning purposes. Where a recording is active, participants will receive a visible system prompt. If you do not wish for your voice or image to be captured, please use your microphone and camera controls to mute your inputs. All live features operate under the Pivotra Live & Broadcast Policies.
07 Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies, software development kits (SDKs), web beacons, and local storage mechanisms to enhance browser and mobile performance. These allow us to maintain active login sessions, remember preferences (such as language or dark mode), secure authentication flows, perform anonymous usage audits, optimize page-load speed, and detect patterns of spam or automated abuse. Where regional laws require explicit cookie consent, Pivotra displays a granular cookie manager to capture your preferences.
08 When we share information
SBRH Foundation does not sell, trade, or lease your personal information to marketing brokers. We disclose your personal data only under the following restricted circumstances:
- With other platform users — based on the specific privacy visibility preferences you configure.
- With service providers — trusted vendors under strict confidentiality agreements who perform hosting, security, user authentication (such as Zoho Auth), analytics, and notification services.
- For legal and safety reasons — where SBRH Foundation is under a legal obligation to respond to subpoenas, court orders, or administrative requests, or where disclosure is essential to mitigate immediate risk to platform safety, investigate fraud, or protect member security.
- During business changes — in connection with any merger, restructuring, acquisition, joint venture, or transfer of asset operations, data transfers are executed under strict data processing agreements matching local compliance laws.
09 Payments and third-party services
For contribution-based access, courses, or events, all financial transactions are processed by PCI-DSS compliant third-party payment gateways. Pivotra does not collect, store, or process raw credit card numbers, bank routing keys, or CVV digits. We receive only non-sensitive transaction metadata — such as payment status, total amount, transaction reference, and currency — which is logged for financial record-keeping.
Third-party services (such as external analytics, cloud hosting providers, and third-party authentication integrations) operate under their own independent privacy terms. SBRH Foundation urges you to review the privacy documentation of any external portal you access.
10 Your privacy choices and rights
SBRH Foundation ensures that users can exercise substantial control over their data. Your statutory rights include:
- Profile rectification — modify or update your registration details, biography, and professional history via user settings.
- Visibility management — toggle visibility settings to decide who can view your posts and community activity.
- Content erasure — manually delete your posts, comments, or uploaded files directly within the application.
- Alert configuration — control notification channels, including push alerts, emails, and SMS updates.
- Account moderation — block or report accounts violating platform policies.
- Device permissions — revoke camera, microphone, notification, and location access through operating system settings.
- Data access requests — request a copy of the personal data collected and maintained about your account.
- Processing objections — withdraw processing consent where processing is explicitly consent-based.
11 Account deletion
You have the right to request the complete deactivation and deletion of your Pivotra account through your account settings panel or by contacting the SBRH Foundation support team at pivotracare@gmail.com.
Upon receiving a deletion request, SBRH Foundation will process it in accordance with statutory timelines. Specific historical records (such as transaction references, audit logs, and security data) may be legally retained to satisfy tax, regulatory, or crime-prevention requirements. Content already copied or shared by other users on external platforms remains beyond SBRH Foundation's control.
12 Data security
SBRH Foundation implements technical, administrative, and physical security measures designed to safeguard your personal data. These include Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) encryption for data at rest, Transport Layer Security (TLS) for data in transit, intrusion detection monitors, secure database firewalls, and restricted employee access protocols.
While we continuously upgrade our security architecture, no system transmitting data over the public internet can be 100% secure. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their passwords and multi-factor credentials, and should notify our team immediately of any unauthorized account activity.
13 Children's privacy
Pivotra is intended for individuals who have reached the legal age of majority or have obtained explicit parental or guardian consent to access community care and educational platforms under regional legislation. SBRH Foundation does not knowingly collect personal details from children without verified legal guardian authorization. If you suspect a minor has provided unauthorized personal data to the platform, please notify us immediately so appropriate corrective action can be taken.
14 Sensitive and devotional information
As Pivotra serves a spiritual, educational, and community purpose, users may voluntarily discuss and post details concerning their devotional practices, spiritual beliefs, philosophical leanings, and lifestyle choices. SBRH Foundation does not require or mandate disclosure of such details, except where a specialized platform feature (like an advanced Shastric course or custom community care group) explicitly asks for it.
15 Location information
Pivotra processes location parameters to enable regional community networks, locate nearby devotional events, coordinate physical community care, and detect fraudulent unauthorized access attempts. While approximate regional data is derived from IP lookups, precise device location is only processed if you grant active GPS permissions via your device settings — which can be configured or revoked at any time.
16 Data retention
We retain your personal data only for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by statutory, audit, or tax requirements. Once data is no longer necessary, SBRH Foundation applies secure deletion, data masking, or irreversible anonymization protocols.
17 International data transfers
To facilitate global devotee networks, personal information collected on Pivotra may be stored, hosted, and processed across distributed cloud servers located outside your native jurisdiction. SBRH Foundation uses standardized data security and processing agreements with infrastructure providers to ensure any international transfers meet the statutory security requirements of your home territory.
18 Legal compliance
SBRH Foundation operates Pivotra in accordance with applicable Indian laws and regulatory frameworks, including the Information Technology Act, 2000, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act). The platform is engineered to support the principles of data minimization, purpose limitation, and user transparency. We consistently update our database procedures to remain compliant as technological capabilities and global legal standards evolve.
19 Changes to this policy
SBRH Foundation reserves the right to modify or replace this Privacy Policy at any time. When material adjustments are made, users will receive clear notification via an in-app prompt, email alert, or a system banner on Pivotra.in. The "Effective Date" at the beginning of this policy will show the date of the most recent revision.
20 Contact and grievance redressal
